Philosophy: Central Park Women’s
Imaging provides private innovative radiology services for women in
a nurturing environment while specializing in the latest technology.
The unique concept of this beautiful, intimate and friendly space
was created by a collaboration of women.
Aesthetic: The calming and serene
look of the space embodies the peaceful nature many New York women
seek from Central Park. The walls purposely exhibit images of women
who rock New York’s state of mind. Rock icons such as Tina Turner,
Yoko Ono, Carly Simon, Aretha Franklin, and Debbie Harry create an
art gallery atmosphere. Famous music and pop culture photographers,
Mick Rock, Bob Gruen, Barry Wentzell and Chuck Pulin, have generously
donated the artwork.
Technology: Central Park Women’s Imaging
has invested in the revolutionary Senographe 2000D digital mammography
system from GE Medical Systems. It uses digital technology for a clear
view of any breast tissue in just seconds, to help detect breast cancer
in its early stages – when it’s most curable. Also on-site are bone
densitometry and breast ultrasound.
Staff: Well-respected radiologists,
Lynn Chinitz, M.D. and Christina Giuliano, M.D. are committed to working
closely with patients and their referring physicians, analyzing all
of the data to be certain that the best possible results are achieved.
Same day results are always given. |
